Aamir Riaz is researcher, political analyst, broadcaster who has worked with various left ideology groups. For a decade he edited a left journal, Awami Jumhori Forum wherein he published the writings and interviews of the progressive leaders who worked not only with labour & peasant movements but also struggled for nationalist movements & progressive ideas across Pakistan. These included among others C. R. Aslam, Tufail Abbas, Abdul Hayee Baloch, Mukhtar Bacha, Ashfaq Saleem Mirza, Rauf Malik, Abid Hassan Manto, Aga Khan Suhotra, Syed Sibtul Hassan Zeygum Eric Rahim, Professor Khalid Mehmud, Mian Ijazul Hassan. Aamir write articles for The News on Sunday, Express, Ajkal, Dunya, Dawn urdu blog, Lehran, Bara Mah and editor of www.wichaar.com. For 8 years he worked as GM Publications at Readings.
